Expressions that take up one thing from among the possible occurrences and state the necessary response when it happens. An expression similar to "Toki" or "Tara".

V(普通形)+ 場合
いadj(普通形)+ 場合
なadjな + 場合 
N の+ 場合 


Although "Toki" "Tara," and "Baai" are similar expressions, "Baai" has the following features.

You can't use "Baai" for something that actually happened.

You can't use "Baai" for something that will never happen.

The word "Baai" is often used for things that are not good.

The difference between the [dictionary-form]  and the [Ta-form] is the same as in "Toki".



 Take this medicine in cases when you have a cough.

 Do not take a bath in case you have a fever.

 In case the fever continues for a week, please come again.

 In case there is fire, call 119.

 In case you don't have money, borrow from your parents.
